Wondering what you should visit? Here are some of the most beautiful places to visit in Thailand.

The White Temple in Chiang Rai , also known as Wat Rong Khun, is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Thailand. The white color is said to signify Buddha’s purity and the glass symbolizes Buddha’s wisdom, designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous artist and architect from Thailand. The most beautiful is the bridge to the central temple itself. The bridge leads over a sea of grasping hands, which in turn symbolize earthly desires.

Imagine a lake with thousands of pink flowers, spreading as far as the eye can see. The Red Waterlily Sea (sometimes called Red Waterlily Lake), officially called Nong Han Kumphawapi Lake, is located approximately 40 km southeast of Udon Thani town. The ideal time to visit Red Water Lily Lake (although most of the flowers are more pink) is during the blooming season which usually starts in December to February. The best time of day when water lilies are in full bloom is in the morning from 6 am to around 12 noon.

Koh Phi Phi is one of the most famous islands on the Andaman coast of Thailand, located between the tourist centers of Phuket and Krabi. You can reach the Phi Phi Islands by speedboat or ferry from Phuket or Krabi.
For a beautiful view of the azure sea, high cliffs and green vegetation, go to the Phi Phi viewpoint where you will be greeted at the top with a large selection of cold drinks and various snacks. A small hidden cove popularly known as Monkey Bay is located northwest of Loh Dalam Bay and is home to a colony of macaques as well as a superb coral reef just off the beach.

One of the most beautiful temple cities in Thailand is Ayutthaya , located only 70 km north of Bangkok. Wat Mahathat, the “Temple of the Great Relic” was one of the most important temples in the Ayutthaya Kingdom where royal ceremonies were held. This ancient temple was built during the 14th century but was reduced to ruins in 1767 when the Burmese army attacked Ayutthaya, many Buddha images were destroyed and Buddha’s heads were cut off. The area remained abandoned and overgrown until the 1950s when the Department of Fine Arts began restoration work in Ayutthaya. The photograph of Buddha’s head entwined in the roots of a tree is one of the most recognizable images from Thailand.

Not far from the charming islands of Koh Tao, there is another idyllic paradise , Koh Nang Yuan , and it is called the most beautiful island in Thailand. It consists of three islands connected by a series of beautiful white sand, green-blue sea and beautiful rocks that create an ideal scene. The beaches of Koh Nang Yuan are unique, during high tide some of the beaches are under water, and during low tide the beach will show you its beauty. From the beach, you can opt for a short 20-minute walk to the lookout point, the highest peak of the three islands, offering a magnificent view.
The best way to get there is to travel to Koh Tao – located in the Gulf of Thailand – and take a 15-minute ferry ride from Koh Tao.
