Stepping into Alberobello , surrounded by white cone-shaped houses, you will feel the breeze of the past. The charming town has about 11 inhabitants and is located in the southern Italian province of Puglia near Bari.
Head to the Aia Piccola district and stroll through the charming streets and admire the beauty of its traditional white stone-walled houses. During your visit, you will discover the Church of Saint-Antoine, the only church in the world built in the form of a trullo. Then end up in the Monti district with numerous souvenir shops.
In some trullos you will see the inscription “casolare panoramica” which means panoramic house, where above the shop there is a beautiful view of all the sweet trullos scattered around the city. Today, some of the houses house museums, souvenir shops and restaurants. Some houses are rented as apartments, while some that are still inhabited today can be entered and viewed from the inside.

Restaurant La Cantina is an authentic Italian restaurant that serves typical Puglia food, where you will enjoy the gastronomic offer passing through the vegetable delights of zucchini flowers in dough filled with scamorza cheese and excellent zucchini alla poverella.
The nearest airports to Alberobello are Bari (65 km) and Brindisi (75 km). From here you’ll need to catch a train to Alberobello from a number of towns in Puglia, including Bari, Brindisi, Lecce and Martina Franca, or hire a car.
